EDUCATION IN NEW HAMPTON NEW HAMPTON COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT The New Hampton Community School district operates an elementary school, a middle school, and a high school with an enrollment of approximately 1,327 students. In the Fall of 1998, voters in the New Hampton Community School District approved a $5.1 million bond issue for the renovation of the elementary/middle school. The New Hampton Elementary and Middle School is a "LIVE" SchoolNet Site, which can be accessed from KWWL's Web Page. ST. JOSEPH'S COMMUNITY CATHOLIC SCHOOL New Hampton also has a parochial (K-8) elementary school, St. Joseph's Community Catholic School, which has an enrollment of 200 students. In 1998, St. Joseph's Parish completed a building project in the amount of $1.6 million, which included the construction of a new gymnasium/parish community center and an addition to the school and church. Holy Family Parish has renovated the old school gymnasium into additional class rooms, a larger library and a technology center.
